GAD Khalsa Girls is a female sports group focusing on fitness and football development. It is proud to be part of GAD Khalsa Sports Club Derby which was established as a voluntary organisation in 1988; initially as an Asian football club. The club as a whole currently facilitates over 100 young members ranging from 6-16 years of age from a variety of ethnic groups. The addition of a female section in 2012 demonstrates the clubs growth & success as it continues to be a developing sports club.

Some of the aims and objectives of GAD Khalsa Sports Club include: maintaining community cohesion increasing participation of sporting activities inclusion of all ethnic minorities targeting disadvantaged young people and supporting them through sporting activities promoting social & emotional well-being of young people

The young people involved with GAD Khalsa Sports are encouraged to develop their interest of sport on a wider scale - this may include: career options sponsorship opportunities developing physical fitness social integration raising self esteem education regarding an active & healthy lifestyle social disadvantage prevention

We welcome volunteers to help with the running of the club including parents and sports professionals. Our focus is on ensuring that volunteers remain engaged and develop their skills with the support of our team. GAD Khalsa Sports Club is an F.A Charter Standard Club and adheres to the following: Child Protection/Welfare policy, Equal Opportunities policy, Public Liability Insurance, Health and Safety policies,F.A Qualified personnel, DBS screening, Code of Conduct Disciplinary procedures.
